Q: i am unable to locate my local settings folder. what should i do?
a: the local settings folder is a windows 2000 or xp hidden folder, which contains information about your windows user profile, and about your incredimail installation. if you are unable to locate the local settings folder under the "c:\documents and settings\your logon name (usually your name)" folder, please do the following:
double click the 'my computer' icon on your desktop. in the 'my computer' window, click on the 'tools' menu, and select 'options'. click on the 'view' tab, and select the "show hidden files and folders" radio button, under the 'hidden files and folders' section.
go to the following location:
c:\documents and settings\your logon name (usually your name)
you will now be able to view the local settings folder
