Raapsteel, yes i must admit to being shocked at having to pay to use the toilet in stores where you have eaten in their restaurant and purchased their merchandise. also that you cannot use credit cards to purchase items of even 200 & 300 euros - most strange. as you say, the nl tends to be geared up more for the seller rather than the buyer! hurrah for the seller but not so good for the buyer; it is especially important then to know your rights i guess! good luck with it all.
